Native-first focus
Right plant, right place, right provenance. Ecological fit isn't a feature; it's the whole point of the work.
Eco Plant Hub brings engineering and ecology together, built by 81 Degrees Engineering and grown through partnerships across the public and private sectors, with the growers, agencies, and organizations restoring Florida's landscapes.
How we work
Resilient landscapes are built by many hands: nurseries, land managers, agencies, engineers, and homeowners all working toward the same outcome. Eco Plant Hub is designed to bring those groups together and give them a shared place to plan, source, and deliver.
The platform is built by 81 Degrees Engineering, drawing on two decades of building secure, resilient systems at the intersection of science, technology, and operations. We partner across the public and private sectors, pairing that engineering discipline with real ecological expertise to build tools that hold up in the field.
The goal is durable partnerships and durable landscapes: systems, technical and ecological alike, that are secure, sustainable, and future-focused.
What we believe
01
Right plant, right place, right provenance. Ecological fit isn't a feature; it's the whole point of the work.
02
Accurate data, reliable systems, real accountability. We build tools that hold up in production, not just a demo.
03
We infuse art and aesthetics into the work wherever we can. Tools and landscapes should be beautiful, not just functional.
04
Growers, agencies, professionals, and neighbors doing the restoration work are who we build for, first and last.
Our commitment
Native plants are the foundation of resilient Florida landscapes: cleaner water, richer habitat, and communities that stand up to a changing climate. We build the tools that make choosing and sourcing them the easy path.
We surface Florida-native plants and their provenance so the ecological choice is the obvious one.
Our marketplace connects the people planning projects directly to the nurseries growing native stock across the state.
Healthier watersheds, richer habitat, and landscapes ready for a changing climate, project by project.
Whether you're planning a project, growing natives, or just getting started, we'd love to build it with you.
